The co-founder of NFT project Rebase, Krzysztof Gagacki, has filed a lawsuit against his partner, accusing him of stealing $2 million from their joint crypto wallet and removing Gagacki from the business. Gagacki claims to own a 50% share of the funds and says his partner refuses to provide him with the private keys to the digital wallet. The lawsuit also alleges that the partner presented himself to third parties as the "sole owner" and "decision maker" for Rebase and made defamatory statements about Gagacki. The lawsuit further claims that the partner seized Twitter accounts relating to NFT collections, including one featuring American celebrity Bella Hadid, which Gagacki claims to have trademark rights for. The partner also allegedly pursued issuing a Rebase token on the Ethereum layer 2 scaling solution Arbitrum without Gagacki's authorization. Rebase is set to integrate on Arbitrum on April 21. The company's $150 million valuation has come on the back of venture capital funding. (Cointelegraph)
