Gadget-Bot, a production company that has been developing the "Kaidro" sci-fi universe for over a decade, is creating a PC role-playing game (RPG) leveraging Web3 and NFTs. The game is set in a world where mech-wielding factions battle against powerful magic users in a post-apocalyptic world.
The game will combine player-versus-player, player-versus-environment, and broader questing mechanics, and three teams of three players each will have to achieve various objectives on maps while fighting off enemy teams.
Each NFT will give its owner a playable character from a specific clan, and players could guide a mech, a spirit guardian, or a pilot. Kaidro NFT holders will be able to clone their NFTs up to a certain amount, and sell those back to players who may not necessarily be interested right off the bat in NFTs but might like the skins.
The game will launch on PC and eventually come to mobile; each NFT will offer storylines unique to that character, and players will also be able to unlock items specific to that character.
