Starknet will begin migrating to Sepolia testnet on November 15th
Starknet has announced on the X platform that after Goerli is discontinued, it will migrate its test network to Sepolia. The Goerli test network will be discontinued at the end of 2023, and Starknet encourages developers to migrate to the Sepolia test network as soon as possible. Starknet will begin migrating to the Sepolia test network on November 15, 2023. At that time, full nodes, API services, SDKs, and other Starknet development tools will also begin to migrate to Sepolia. The Sepolia test network will support all Cairo V0, V2.0.0, and higher versions.

Starknet: V0.13.0 mainnet is planned to be launched on January 22, 2024, and will support STRK to pay transaction fees
On November 12th, the Starknet community forum released information on the next versions (V0.12.3, V0.13.0) and the migration of the Sepolia testnet. This includes:
1. V0.12.3 will bring a very important change, which is the deprecation of the feeder gateway. Builders should migrate to API services or run a full node independently. V0.12.3 also introduces some changes to the _validate_ of account contracts;
2. V0.13.0 will include a new transaction type, V3. This transaction type lays the foundation for future features on the roadmap, including paying transaction fees with STRK other than ETH, fee markets, paymasters, and nonce generalization. Additionally, V0.13.0 will come with a new Cairo version, V2.4.0, which introduces string literals and basic string operations.
3. The following are the planned upgrade dates for the network:
- November 19, 2023: V0.12.3 Goerli testnet;
- December 11, 2023: V0.12.3 mainnet. Please note that this is one week earlier than the previously communicated date;
- December 5, 2023: V0.13.0 Goerli testnet. If necessary, this date may be postponed by one week to December 13;
- January 22, 2024: V0.13.0 mainnet, awaiting governance vote.
4. In addition to version updates, after Goerli is deprecated, Starknet will migrate the testnet to Sepolia. The Goerli testnet will be supported until the end of 2023, and developers are encouraged to migrate to Sepolia as much as possible.
Starknet will begin migrating to the Sepolia testnet on November 15, 2023. At that time, full nodes, API services, SDKs, and other Starknet development tools will also begin migrating to Sepolia.
