The pair had shunned volatility over most of the week but now faced nonfarm payroll (NFP) numbers as a final potential catalyst for risk assets. Analysts expect BTC to remain in the current range for a while, with support levels at $27,600 and $25,000-25,400. However, Bollinger bands suggest that calm conditions are about to break, with a challenge of the upper or lower band expected soon. In 2023, BTC/USD gained 40% in January but ended February almost exactly at its starting position, and March upside totaled 23%, while in April, Bitcoin is currently down 2.3%.
