Amazon Plans To Reinvent Its Search Feature With New AI-First Initiative

Amazon is planning to revamp its search feature by introducing an AI-first initiative that uses large-scale deep learning techniques. The company has posted two job listings for a Senior Technical Program Manager and a Senior SDE, Machine Learning, Amazon Search, with salaries ranging from $119,000 to $261,500 per year depending on the applicant's location. The new search feature will offer an interactive conversational experience that helps customers find answers to product questions, perform product comparisons, receive personalized product suggestions, and more. This move comes as no surprise since generative AI technology has been rapidly growing and impacting nearly every sector, including journalism and cryptocurrency.
