Walmart and Outlier Ventures Launch Web3 Accelerator for E-Commerce Startups

Walmart and Outlier Ventures have partnered to launch the Store Nº8 Base Camp accelerator program, which focuses on startups in web3 marketing, advertising, and payment technology. The program's first cohort includes five startups, such as HypeLab, Reveel, Tide Protocol, Tokenguard, and Unblock. Walmart's VP and GM, Thomas Kang, stated that the company sees the growth of virtual worlds as an opportunity to experiment with a new type of commerce. The program aims to improve experiences for retailers and consumers through web3 innovation and decentralized commerce.
