LayerZero CEO: Release a temporary list of witches for community review

Bryan Pellegrino, CEO of LayerZero Labs, announced on social media that a temporary witch list has been released. Bryan Pellegrino stated that we are releasing it here for community review. If there is a cluster here that is wrong or can be proven to be a wrong report, we will remove it. This does not apply to personal appeals, so it is not based on each address. Please list obvious errors in the clusters and the reasons why this method is obviously wrong or how to prove that it contains false reports. If possible, please provide feedback within the next 24 hours. Some reports from bounty hunters have been approved but have not yet been listed, and the list may be slightly updated tomorrow, but 99% are here.

LayerZero Co-creation: 23.8% of the total tokens will be allocated to the community and builders

LayerZero co-founder Bryan Pellegrino posted on social media about the approximate distribution of LayerZero's token ZRO, stating that 23.8% of ZRO token supply will directly flow to the community and builders. Among them, 8.5% will be distributed on the first day (5% core, 3% RFP, 0.5% community pool).The rest will be distributed over the next 36 months, with additional retrospective allocations every 12 months, as well as some forward-looking RFPs for builders.

LayerZero CEO responds to reports of witch on-chain bribery: Changing the report may affect its overall bounty

LayerZero CEO Bryan Pellegrino responded on X platform to the issue of being accused of bribing the reporter with witch addresses. Pellegrino strongly advises the reporter not to modify the report, as the team has the original records of GitHub and Commonwealth. Editing and deleting witch clusters may endanger the entire bounty. Previously, the witch hunter @SybilHorror6 stated that after the report was publicly released, an anonymous person contacted him and was willing to bribe him with $12,000 to clear a total of 172 wallet addresses in 3 clusters.

Stargate Community Launches RFP Proposal for Potential LayerZero Token Allocation

The cross-chain bridge Stargate community initiated a "Potential LayerZero Token Distribution" RFP proposal vote. The proposal includes distributing potential LayerZero token rewards for Stargate DAO to cross-chainers, liquidity providers, and STG stakers. Among them, 60% of the tokens will be allocated to cross-chainers (42% will be allocated to already cross-chain users, and 18% will be reserved for partner agreements in the nested RFP process), 20% of the tokens will be distributed to veSTG holders, 10% of the tokens will be distributed to LP providers, and 10% of the tokens will be distributed to developers based on LayerZero suggestions.

Bitget Wallet launches LayerZero witch address self-service query webpage

Bitget Wallet, a Web3 wallet, has launched a self-service query webpage for LayerZero witch addresses, helping users to check whether they have been hit by a witch. Users can directly enter or paste their addresses and batch query whether they have been identified as potential witches, with 803,093 addresses identified as such through analysis by witches themselves, LayerZero, Chaos Labs, and Nansen on the X platform.

LayerZero co-founder: Addresses that are falsely reported as witches can appeal by filling out a form

On May 19th, Bryan Pellegrino, co-founder and CEO of LayerZero, stated on social media that addresses mistakenly identified as witches can appeal by filling out a form.<br>Previously, LayerZero officials posted on social media that, after the witch's confession and analysis by LayerZero, Chaos Labs, and Nansen, 803,093 addresses were identified as potential witches. This number initially exceeded 2 million, but the officials adopted stricter standards to minimize false positives.

LayerZero Witch Report has collected 2312 reports

According to relevant page information, the LayerZero witch hunt has collected 2312 reports, of which 608 have been completed and 1704 are still in the review stage.<br>As previously reported , LayerZero announced that the airdrop activity has entered the bounty hunting stage. Reporters need to provide at least 20 addresses that clearly indicate witch operations, and can receive 10% of the expected token distribution of the witch address. In the case of multiple reports of the same address, the bounty will be given to the first reporter. The final witch list will be announced after the bounty hunting ends on May 31st.

Harmony community releases LayerZero airdrop token ZRO distribution proposal discussion

Harmony Community released a proposal to discuss the distribution of LayerZero airdrop token ZRO to Harmony Bridge users. The proposal states that Harmony users who complete one or more of the following activities before the snapshot on May 1st, 2024 are eligible for ZRO token airdrop: using any token across LayerZero of Harmony; opening a liquidity pool on the Harmony network with at least one bridged asset; contributing to the recovery work by operating a re-hooked validator node, restoring partners, or serving as a custodian.
