Zhu Su: Currently we do not believe Eigenlayer’s re-staking will pose a significant risk
Zhu Su, the founder of Three Arrows Capital, stated on social media that he does not currently believe that re-pledging Eigenlayer will pose a significant risk. However, if users borrow ETH and then re-pledge ETH, and continue to operate on Eigenlayer, the situation will be different because this could lead to the possibility of ETH liquidity pull, rising interest rates, and subsequently negative interest rate differential liquidation.

Multi-chain yield protocol Magpie integrates with EigenLayer to provide re-staking services through Eigenpie
Multi-chain yield protocol Magpie has announced its integration with Ethereum re-staking protocol EigenLayer and the establishment of the SubDAO organization Eigenpie. It is reported that Eigenpie will provide re-staking services through EigenLayer's framework, and the main network will go live after auditing. In addition, Eigenpie will also launch governance and revenue-sharing token EGP.
The full-chain staking protocol StakeStone will integrate EigenLayer
On January 19th, it was announced that the full-chain collateralization protocol StakeStone will integrate EigenLayer's re-collateralization service and officially upgrade its Ethereum-based STONE token from a full-chain collateralization token (LST) to a full-chain re-collateralization token (LRT). The current total value locked (TVL) available for re-collateralization is over 700 million US dollars.
EigenLayer will introduce three new LSTs at 12 noon PT on January 29th

OKX DeFi now supports Eigenlayer protocol
OKX DeFi now supports the Eigenlayer protocol. Users can now stake ETH to obtain staking certificates in protocols such as Lido, Swell, Rocketpool, Stader, etc. through OKX DeFi, and then stake the certificates to Eigenlayer for an additional annualized yield of up to 8%! EigenLayer is a re-staking protocol built on Ethereum that allows users to earn additional rewards using their locked ETH.OKX Web3 wallet's DeFi section is an all-in-one on-chain investment platform that has aggregated various investment products from 20+ public chains, 80+ projects, and 200+ protocols. It supports various convenient operations such as one-click cross-currency investment and automatic yield calculation, helping users improve fund utilization while saving on gas fees, making DeFi investment easier.
Google Cloud confirms participation in EigenLayer testnet
A spokesperson for EigenLabs, the developer behind EigenLayer, stated that Google Cloud has joined EigenLayer's "Operator Working Group" with over 65 other operators and independent participants. EigenLayer is a re-collateralization protocol that allows Ethereum to be collateralized on multiple platforms simultaneously. Google Cloud declined to comment on whether it plans to migrate to EigenLayer's mainnet or whether the protocol will be added to Google Cloud's blockchain node engine. EigenLabs cannot confirm whether Google Cloud will still be an operator once the node is running on the mainnet. The spokesperson stated that they expect Google Cloud to continue to provide support as the testnet is aimed at preparing for the mainnet deployment in the first half of 2024.
