Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, will make an appearance at the Web3 Summit in Hong Kong on April 9th at 10:15 am. He will deliver a keynote speech on the topic of "Reaching the Limits of Protocol Design". Later that day at 1:45 pm, he will also give a live talk at the main venue on "Building on Ethereum in the 2020s". It is reported that this speech seems to have been decided on at the last minute and was not included in earlier promotional posters. According to multiple encounters and photos, Vitalik had already arrived in Hong Kong before yesterday.

On July 20th, Vitalik Buterin replied to a social media user's inquiry about "what is a globally universal blockchain" by stating that blockchain is a "truth machine" and, in a specific sense, it provides a consensus that is close to the truth about when a message was sent, but it will not tell you if landing on the moon is true.
