Emerging technologies like blockchain are changing the way humans interact with the digital world, prompting discussions about their impact on human experience. During a virtual talk hosted by the reState Foundation, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, and Sadhguru, founder of the Isha Foundation, discussed the intersection of technology and human consciousness. They pointed out a growing gap between the rate of technological evolution and the progression of human ethical and consciousness development, with the latter being left behind. However, they also noted that emerging tech can help people recognize complicated identities and connect on common ground, resulting in realized cooperation and learning opportunities. Both speakers emphasized proper usage of technologies like blockchain as a tool for greater understanding and raising human consciousness.
