Meta Platforms CEO Zuckerberg Focuses on Boosting Retention of Twitter Rival Threads

Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg has revealed that the company is focused on improving retention rates for its new Twitter rival, Threads, after the app lost over half of its users in the weeks following its launch. While retention rates were better than expected, Zuckerberg acknowledged that there was still work to be done.

The company is looking at adding more features to the app, including a desktop version and search functionality, to entice users to return. The comments came after Meta wowed investors with a rosy revenue growth forecast, and Zuckerberg also spoke about the company's work on augmented and virtual reality technology.
