July 1 (Cointime) - The price of Bitcoin has surpassed $30,000 following the refiling of BTC Spot ETF applications by several traditional financial firms.
The firms had to refile their applications after the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) deemed their previous filings inadequate. The SEC had criticized the firms for failing to name the spot Bitcoin exchange they would enter into a "surveillance-sharing agreement" with. Some impacted firms, such as Fidelity, VanEck, Invesco/Galaxy, and Ark Invest, have refiled their applications, naming Coinbase as their partner spot exchange.
