The decentralized cross-chain trading platform Kinetix Network completed "seven-digit" strategic financing, with Factor and Gnosis Chain leading the investment
Decentralized cross-chain trading platform Kinetix Network announced the completion of a strategic financing round led by Factor and Gnosis Chain, with a financing amount in the "seven figures". The team stated that this partnership enables Kinetex to perfect its groundbreaking trading method to transfer liquidity between networks without storing assets in pools and using zero-knowledge (Zk) technology to achieve verification without relying on third parties. Kinetex plans to launch its public testnet on Gnosis Chain early next year. The testing phase is expected to last for three months, with the aim of identifying errors and improving user experience.
ChainLight has discovered a soundness bug in the ZK circuit of the zkSync Era mainnet, and Matter Labs has deployed a fix.
On November 3rd, security company ChainLight disclosed that its researchers discovered a soundness bug in the ZK circuit of the zkSync Era mainnet on September 15th, and reported it on the 19th. The bug could potentially drain all tokens passed through cross-chain bridges, allowing malicious provers to generate proofs for invalidly executed blocks, which would be accepted by the verifier smart contracts on L1. Matter Labs has deployed a fix for the issue and awarded ChainLight 50,000 USDC as a reward.
zkRollup network Intmax announced the completion of strategic financing, with participation from LD capital and others
Intmax, a Layer 2 network project based on zkRollup, has announced the completion of a strategic financing round and the launch of the "INTMAX Wallet" digital wallet. LD Capital, KX, GMO web3, and Kepple Africa Ventures participated in the funding, with the amount undisclosed. In addition, Intmax stated that its mainnet will be launched in the first quarter of 2024.<br>According to Web3 asset data platform RootData, Intmax has completed a $5 million seed round of financing, with participation from HashKey Capital and others.

Polyhedra Network Launches zkBridge Fast Finality on opBNB, Which Can Complete Asset Transfers in 3 Minutes
Polyhedra Network, a Web3 interoperability infrastructure provider, announced the launch of zkBridge Fast Finality on opBNB, which significantly reduces cross-chain latency by combining decentralized trust verification networks. Users can complete asset transfers in just 3 minutes without waiting for 7 days, improving cross-chain interoperability efficiency and user experience, bringing a safer and more integrated future for digital blockchain.
The Potential and Opportunities of Application-specific Chains on Cosmos
The public chain world is ever-growing. While inflows of users and liquidity bring usage activity and transaction volumes, block space becomes increasingly scarce and valuable. This makes the narrative of a super blockchain network for application-specific chains appealing.
L2BEAT Launches Build Your Own Rollup Tool
On October 13th, Layer2 technology research and data website L2BEAT announced the launch of the Build Your Own Rollup (BYOR) tool. BYOR is a simplified version of a sovereign Rollup that makes the code easy to read and understand. Currently deployed on the Holesky testnet, BYOR can perform functions such as fee sorting, sending and retrieving state to/from L1, removing invalid transactions, viewing account balances, sending transactions, and viewing transaction status.
