Yearn, a DeFi platform, has suffered a significant loss after mistakenly swapping all of its lp-yCRVv2 tokens for yvDAI. The platform has requested that those who profited from the mistake return the funds. Yearn has acknowledged that the mistake was caused by a logical error in the script used to swap tokens, which lacked sufficient output checks. The losses incurred by Yearn's treasury amount to approximately 63%.

The yearn community has proposed enhancing the yETH governance voting process by adding a requirement for a minimum number of valid voters and introducing a gradual decrease in voting weight as the voting period nears its end. These modifications are aimed at facilitating the transition to on-chain governance and protecting yETH governance from abuse.

Yield Aggregator Protocol Yearn has announced the launch of Yearn V3 on Polygon. Yearn V3 introduces tokenization strategies and supports the creation of single strategy vaults without permission. In addition, the strategies and vaults are now fully compatible with ERC-4626. Yearn will add new vaults and strategies before releasing on other chains.
