On April 1st, according to official sources, the cross-chain bridge project Orbiter Finance now supports users to cross-chain assets to Mantle Network, initially exempting users from 70% of the cross-chain fees.

Orbiter Finance announced the rebranding of their platform to the ZK-based Orbiter Rollup. Orbiter Rollup will become the infrastructure layer for Ethereum, with a focus on achieving ultimate interoperability and improving fund efficiency.

OKX Ventures has invested in Orbiter Finance, a decentralized cross-Layer 2 (L2) protocol provider. The amount of the investment has not been disclosed, but it will be used to expand operations and development efforts. Orbiter Finance's protocol integrates ZK Simplified Payment Verification (SPV) to authenticate L2 transactions on the mainnet and to arbitrate fraudulent re-layers via EVM, providing an efficient, low-cost, and quick communication mechanism for Ethereum. The company has processed over 12 million transactions and amassed a total transaction volume of over US$7.8 billion, with a large user base exceeding three million and a thriving community of more than 700,000 users and fans.

OKX Ventures announced that it would lead the investment in decentralized Layer2 cross-chain protocol Orbiter Finance. Over the past two years, Orbiter has processed over 12 million transactions, with a total amount of $7.8 billion and over 3 million cumulative users. Currently, Orbiter is upgrading its products and building an instant Omni Rollup based on ZK-Tech on the Ethereum network. Orbiter aims to become an instant full-chain Rollup based on ZK technology, thereby establishing a secure, efficient, low-cost, and low-latency communication mechanism for Ethereum. Dora, the founder of OKX Ventures, expressed her pleasure in leading the investment in Orbiter.
