Mastercard Launches NFT-Gated Musician Accelerator Program
Mastercard has announced a new artist accelerator program that is non-fungible token (NFT)-gated and only accessible to holders of its Mastercard Music Pass NFT. This development comes less than two months after both Mastercard and Visa announced that they would be delaying all new crypto and blockchain partnerships until improved market conditions and a more established regulatory framework.

Fetch.ai has proposed funding an AI-focused NFT marketplace on its network, aimed at both AI-generated content and AI models for access and distribution using NFTs. The proposal, launched by partner AzoyaLabs, has a poll underway to approve community funding for the initiative. The NFT marketplace could increase gas usage on the network and boost network activity, as well as increasing funds for future projects. Despite a decline in NFT metrics for Fetch.ai, on-chain metrics are looking bullish, with FET's exchange outflow spiking and top addresses increasing their holdings. FET's social volume and network growth are also on an upward trajectory.
