NFT sales fell for the sixth consecutive week, down 9.91% from the previous week
NFT sales have continued to decline for the sixth consecutive week. This week's NFT sales amounted to $72.76 million, a decrease of 9.91% from the previous week. However, the number of NFT buyers increased by 17.77% to reach 569,407. Over the past week, the number of NFT sellers also increased by 15.82% to reach 714,889.
In cross-chain NFT sales, Ethereum ranked first with sales of $37.27 million, meaning that 51.22% of NFT transactions this week came from the Ethereum blockchain. Although leading, NFT sales centered around ETH have slightly decreased, dropping by 1.16% compared to the previous week. Mythos NFT sales ranked second with sales of $7.83 million, a whopping increase of 13.12% since last week. Polygon ranked third in NFT sales this week with sales of $7.12 million. Solana ranked fourth with $5.86 million, while Immutable X ranked fifth with sales of $5.47 million.
In addition, this week's top NFT series was won by Mythos' Dmarket, with sales of $7.76 million. Following closely behind was Immutable X's collection "Gods Unchained," which took second place with revenue of up to $5.22 million.

Independent filmmaker Sherone Rabinovitz has been working on a CryptoPunks movie since March 2018, when he was interviewed by the founders of the NFT series, John Watkinson and Matt Hall. Austin Federa, the strategic director of the Solana Foundation, posted on X platform that according to Dune data, users have minted over 52 million compressed NFTs on Solana in the past six months, and the number of holders has doubled.
