Singapore-based meta-MMO platform for gamers, MetaCene, has raised $10m in Private A funding led by Folius Ventures and SevenX Ventures, with participation from other industry heavyweights. The platform is building a next-gen blockchain MMORPG platform for mass players, featuring a post-apocalyptic society where survivors interact with diverse NFTs. MetaCene has launched two major NFT collections along its rapid game development and is preparing to launch the Realms NFT collection through its upcoming Content Creator Incubation Program. The platform aims to bring its co-creation and co-governance vision to life through AI integration and blockchain assets as it approaches the release of Commercial Version 1.0 in 2024.
