Kyber Network attacker exchanged 2 million ARB for ETH in the past month
Arkham monitoring data shows that in the past month, the attacker of Kyber Network has sold 2 million ARB tokens through Uniswap in exchange for a total of $6.04 million worth of ETH. The exploiter currently holds a total of $30.5 million worth of cryptocurrency, most of which is ETH and staked ETH.
Kyber Network attacker exchanged 1.7 million ARB for 1,221.8 ETH in the past 3 days
Monitoring by Spot On Chain shows that in the past three days, the attacker of Kyber Network exchanged 1.7 million ARB (worth $2.86 million) for 1,221.8 ETH at an average price of $1.68. The attacker still holds 687,000 ARB (worth $1.32 million) and may continue to sell more ARB.
Kyber Network: Compensation details will be announced on December 20, and a snapshot page has been created.
Kyber Network has announced on social media that it will provide funding to every user affected by the vulnerability. The details of the financial compensation are currently being finalized and will be announced at 2:00 PM UTC on December 20th. A snapshot page has already been created that allows affected users to view the dollar value (including fees) of all affected positions on the chain, which are recorded in a block prior to the occurrence of the vulnerability.
Kyber Network: Frontend UI has been disabled out of an abundance of caution
On December 14th, cross-chain DEX project Kyber Network posted on social media that, out of caution, it has disabled the front-end UI until the situation is clear.

According to PeckShield monitoring, the address marked as the attacker of Kyber Network once again transferred 1000 ETH to Tornado Cash.

According to PeckShield's monitoring, the address marked by the Kyber Network attacker has transferred 3000 ETH from Arbitrum to Ethereum, and transferred 1000 ETH to Torna docash.
Kyber Network: Plans to provide compensation to users through KyberSwap Treasury
Kyber Network announced on the X platform that it plans to provide compensation to users through the KyberSwap Treasury, with a maximum amount equivalent to the stolen funds. Earlier, KyberSwap stated: "On November 22, 2023, at 10:54 pm UTC, an attacker used a series of complex operations of the KyberSwap Elastic smart contract for exploitative exchanges, resulting in user funds being extracted to the attacker's wallet. Approximately $54.7 million of user funds were used by the attacker."
