io.net stated in a post on X platform that the Workers points snapshot on April 25th has taken effect. Workers points that were not included in the April 25th snapshot currently need to undergo witch review and are expected to be provided within the next 72 hours.

On April 27th, io.net founder and CEO Ahmad Shadid tweeted that all device data has been restored and multiple security patches have been released to protect user device data through Okta Auth0 backend authorization. Additionally, all existing devices will need to be restarted to complete the update. Furthermore, when users reconnect their devices, the official will fix the issue of recording everyone's normal operating time during this event.

On March 5th, DePIN protocol io.net within the Solana ecosystem announced the completion of a $30 million Series A financing round, led by Hack VC, with participation from Multicoin Capital, 6th Man Ventures, M13, Delphi Digital, Solana Labs, Aptos Labs, Foresight Ventures, Longhash, SevenX, ArkStream, Animoca Brands, Continue Capital, MH Ventures, and OKX, as well as industry leaders including Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenk, Aptos founder Mo Shaikh and Avery Ching, Yat Siu of Animoca Brands, and Jin Kang of Perlone Capital. The raised funds will be used to establish the world's largest decentralized GPU network and solve the problem of AI computing shortages.

Decentralized cloud service io.net has announced a partnership with Render Network (RNDR) to expand its focus on AI GPU supply. As part of the "Early Supplier Incentive Program," this partnership will allocate up to 1.14 million RNDR tokens ($2.6 million). The partnership will distribute RNDR rewards in stages over a total of eight weeks. Currently, there are 300,000 RNDR tokens ($700,000) available for distribution. (finbold)
