Hashdex's Bitcoin ETF (DEFI) was last quoted at $57.01 in pre-market trading on the New York Stock Exchange.

Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett stated on social media that the deadline for submitting updated Bitcoin spot ETF files to the US SEC has passed (8am local time this morning), and all issuers have submitted updated S-1 (Grayscale's is S-3) files except for Hashdex, including Grayscale, Ark/21Shares, BlackRock, BitWise, VanEck, WisdomTree, Invesco, Fidelity, Valkyrie, and Franklin. Therefore, unless they submit their applications at the last minute today, these issuers have submitted all of their files and theoretically will be ready to issue this week.

Reported that according to Bitcoin News on social media, Hashdex has released its second commercial advertisement for a spot Bitcoin ETF.

On December 23rd, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart posted on social media that Hashdex has submitted its revised Bitcoin spot ETF application (S-1) to the SEC, confirming BitGo as the custodian of its spot ETF assets in this update.

According to Bitcoin Magazine, SEC has stated that it has held a meeting with Hashdex regarding its spot Bitcoin ETF.

The SEC has postponed its decision on whether to approve or reject proposals for two bitcoin ETFs, the Franklin Bitcoin ETF and the Hashdex Bitcoin Futures ETF. Bloomberg ETF Analyst James Seyffart has suggested that the SEC may be preparing to approve a batch of bitcoin ETFs in early January by delaying decisions until now. The SEC has requested public comments on issues such as the potential for manipulation of the funds and underlying bitcoin markets. The final decision on whether to approve or reject the proposed rule change will be made by January 1, 2024, and interested parties have 21 days to submit initial comments to the SEC.

According to The Block, the SEC has postponed the filing of HASHDEX's Nasdaq Ethereum spot and futures ETF.
