Decentralized GPU infrastructure startup GPU.net announced the completion of a $5.25 million Series A financing round, with participation from Momentum 6, Spicy Capital, Exnetwork Capital, BlackDragon, Crypto Banter, as well as angel investors Alex Becker and EllioTrader. GPU.Net currently provides support for next-generation generative AI, Web3 metaverse, high-end graphics rendering, and cryptocurrency mining, with the goal of becoming a generative processing unit that initially supports multi-functional GPU tasks such as 3D, AI, and research and ultimately transforms into a fully decentralized universal unit network.
