The open source software financing platform Gitcoin announced that it will shift its focus from public product financing to strengthening grant infrastructure designed for the Ethereum ecosystem. As part of the new restructuring plan, Gitcoin has established two business units internally. One unit will focus on coordinating product-specific work, while subDAO will manage community and governance affairs.

Gitcoin announced on social media X that its GG19 (Gitcoin Grants 19) event has ended. During the event, a total of over $600,000 in donations was provided, with 316,134 donations made.

According to Gitcoin's post on X platform, there are about 8 hours left until GG19 ends. As of now, GG19 has provided about $535,000 in donation amount, with 283,311 donations from 39,842 independent users/projects. The breakdown is as follows:
