Centrifuge contributor Asad Khan stated that EIP-7540 will ensure that asynchronous deposit and redemption processes are possible, and that this EIP has the potential to benefit protocols that handle real-world assets (RWA), cross-chain lending, and liquid staking.
EIP-7540 is still in its early stages and must first be discussed on the Ethereum forum before moving on to the next stage.
