Connext plans network upgrade on December 14th Bacco
Layer2 interoperability protocol Connext announced that it will conduct a network upgrade called Bacco on December 14th.<br>Connext stated that Bacco significantly reduces the operating costs of the network, and enables Connext to quickly expand to new chains and L2. Bacco changes the way messages are transmitted between chains, with messages being transmitted between chains through the Connext Sequencer (subject to the impact of the fraud-proof window and observer disputes), rather than through the sequencer of other Rollups.
Connext will undergo Bacco network upgrade
Connext announced a new upgrade to the Bacco network, which aims to improve the existing "slow path" of the Connext Network, reduce the operating costs of the new chain by more than 90%, while maintaining optimal security. The Connext Foundation proposed the DAO RFC to approve support for 20 new chains and L2 protocols in the future. The announcement stated that the Bacco network upgrade will take place on December 14th, waiting for production test network monitoring to be completed.
Connext launches zk rollup Linea
Cross-chain protocol Connext has announced the launch of zk rollup Linea, allowing users to directly transfer ETH and USDC to/from Linea from other L2 on Connext or through Jumper and Bungee exchanges.
