TRU, the governance token of decentralized lending protocol TrueFi, surged 220% on Thursday in an hour, data by CoinMarketCap shows, in a speculative flurry over a Binance stablecoin transaction.

BNB Coin is a cryptocurrency created by Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. It was launched in 2017 as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain and then later moved to its own blockchain.

With the new ‘Twitter CEO’ avatar, Floki Inu coin now joined Dogecoin (DOGE) in the list of memecoins of interest to Elon Musk. Perceived as a rival to Shiba Inu (SHIB), it is a multichain token on Ethereum (ETH) and Binance Smart Chain (BSC), is currently ranked under top 100 based on market value. Considering the huge validation DOGE received thanks to Elon Musk’s open endorsement, FLOKI is slated for a huge rise in the coming months if he continues to mention the memecoin.

As U.S. regulators continue to sniff around Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange is prepared to pay monetary penalties to “make amends” for past regulatory violations, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, expects to pay monetary penalties to settle existing U.S. regulatory and law-enforcement investigations of its business, the firm's chief strategy officer said in an interview.  

Tether’s USDT, the largest stablecoin by circulating supply, has gained some $1 billion in market capitalization as crypto investors flee rival Binance USD (BUSD), which fell under regulatory scrutiny earlier this week.
