According to a tweet published on Friday by the Binance CEO, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, the company is considering sunsetting a deal that was agreed upon by its U.S. subsidiary to purchase the defunct crypto lender Voyager Digital. Although there have been no official confirmations from the firm yet, CZ’s tweet comes as a mere topic of discussion on the possibility of Binance pulling out from the deal.

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by 24-hour trading volume, has burned a whopping amount of Terra Classic tokens (LUNC). According to data from LunaBurnTracker, the leading cryptocurrency exchange sent 8,849,666,174 (8.84 billion) LUNC worth $1,504,266 ($1.5 million) to the official Terra Classic burn wallet.

Binance is making another attempt at getting a license in Singapore, but this time as a custodian, according to a report from Nikkei Asia. The exchange’s custody unit, which it rebranded as Ceffu in early February, is applying for a Capital Markets Service license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore to provide custodial services in-country, according to a report. Binance says the name Ceffu is a reference to SAFU (Secure Asset Fund for Users), its insurance policy. On Mar. 1, the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance launched an AI-powered NFT generator called “Bicasso” in beta. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao told users “you can turn your creative visions into NFTs with AI,” following it up a couple of hours later with “Bicasso first pilot just completed with 10K NFT minted in 2.5 hours.
