Berachain Raises $100M in Series B Funding for Regional Expansion
Berachain has successfully raised $100 million in a Series B investment round led by Framework Ventures and Brevan Howard Digital, with participation from other prominent investors. The funds will be used to support the blockchain's regional expansion campaigns in South America, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Singapore. Berachain has already handled 100 million transactions on its testnet and is preparing for the launch of its mainnet in Q2 2021, which is expected to be compatible with Ethereum-based apps. Sales of nonfungible tokens (NFTs) related to former US President Donald Trump have plummeted by 99% while he faces criminal charges in New York. However, a reissue of Trump NFTs has performed better, with 966 sales in the last 30 days. NFT International, LLC has decided to halt Trump NFT sales until 2024. The outcome of the trials could impact investor sentiment and the market's future. Dentsu has partnered with Chiru Labs, the creators of the Azuki NFT collection, to produce a three-part anime series called "Enter The Garden." The series will feature characters from the Azuki NFT collection and businesses owned by NFT holders will be seamlessly placed in their products. The first episode will premiere on April 30. Head of Dentsu's anime operations Yusuke Nii is excited about the partnership and suggests there may be more joint ventures in the future.

According to official sources, the Berachain public test network "Artio" has now been launched. Developers and users can use the faucet to receive testnet BERA tokens to interact with the network and its dApp applications. Users, developers, and validators can participate in the test network through Galxe's Quest platform.
