Tom Menner is Director, Solution Architecture for Asia-Pacific for R3, a leading blockchain consortium of over 200 banks. R3 is most known for being the creator of Corda, a prominent open-source distributed ledger platform tailored for financial transactions. Tom also has over 15 years at IBM where he was a Worldwide Solution Architect for Digital Commerce. At R3, Tom is now responsible for client engagements for blockchain and distributed ledger technical solution design, business development and education for the entire Asia-Pacific region (and other regions as needed). This includes work on trade finance, asset trading, digital cash and currency, insurance, other marketplaces (such as energy), and identity management. Tom is an expert in enterprise blockchain and plays a critical role in advising BLMP on solution architecture and enterprise software blockchain solutions
