Thomas Ludwig is the vice president of customer advocacy at [MetricStream](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/metricstream), a solutions provider for quality management, regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance. Previously, he co-founded TBD Networks and served the same company as the chief executive officer.

Prior to joining TBD Networks, Thomas was a principal at Boldstep Software, a boutique consulting firm specialized in mega-project management in the financial services industry. He started his career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, working on projects for clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, media, manufacturing, and banking industries.

Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s in computer science from the University of Technology, Vienna, and a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Vienna in a joint program with UC Berkeley.
