Susan J. McIsaac, FCA, is partner at McIsaac Darragh Chartered Accountants. She holds the prestigious fellowship (FCA) designation in recognition of her notable career accomplishments and service to her profession and community. Her previous work experience includes over 11 years with Grant Thornton in Amherst, Nova Scotia. For the past several years, Ms. McIsaac has taught a variety of courses for the Provincial Institutes of Chartered Accountants. She is currently a council member for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia and is past president of the Rotary Club of Amherst. Ms. McIsaac presents frequently to various groups on estate planning and succession issues, and has significant experience with agricultural and woodlot issues. Upon graduating from Mount Allison University at the top of her class, Ms. McIsaac obtained her CA designation with honours, ranking first in Atlantic Canada, and among the top 20 in Canada.
