Mr Kolenc is a Managing Director of OPTrust, one of Canada’s largest pension funds with over 92,00 members and retirees. Mr Kolenc is responsible for all of OPTrust’s activities in the APAC region. He has been with OPTrust for over 12 years and has considerable experience in managing multiple asset classes, investing in mainly private equity and infrastructure. Mr Kolenc is a member of the Private Markets Investment Committee which oversees all of OPTrust’s private market investing. Mr Kolenc is also a CFA® charterholder.

Mr Kolenc sits on the boards of several portfolio companies that are directly owned by OPTrust. He is a non executive member of the board of directors of a number of companies including Australian companies Globalvia, SkyBus, Ararat Wind Farm, Aviator Group and Flow Power.

Mr Kolenc was born and raised in Canada. He studied engineering at the University of Western Ontario where he graduated with distinction. Mr Kolenc lives in Sydney, Australia.
