Shlomo has more than 35 years of experience as an innovator in the cable industry. Prior to Gainspeed, he co-founded Novafora, a fab-less semiconductor company focused on parallel processing for advanced video applications. Shlomo also co-founded and served as the President and Chief Technical Officer of Terayon Communication Systems, where he invented the SCDMA technology that was the basis for DOCSIS 2.0. Terayon Communication Systems was later acquired by Motorola. Early in his career, Shlomo was chief engineer for PhaseCom, where he developed very early cable modems.

Shlomo is a prolific inventor and has been granted more than 50 patents. He has served on numerous Boards of Directors including Terayon Communication, Terachip, Novafora, and Gainspeed.

Shlomo holds a B.S.E.E. from Technion University in Israel.
