Ryan has been in the VC/PE space for more than ten years, and served as the Executive Vice President of Zero2IPO Group. Ryan also served as Managing Director of Zero2IPO Capital (the Investment Banking Department of Zero2IPO Group), where he presided over a score of financing deals, such as SECOO(Nasdaq:SECO),Ganji(aquired by NYSE:WUBA), Baihe(OC:834214), 6.cn(aquired by SZ:300144) and Tianya(OC:833359). Ryan also participated in the founding of CYZone.

Later, Ryan established and served as CEO of an internet platform for equity investment and financing called “Good Projects”and “Touyishou”, which secured multiple rounds of investment.

Since the establishment of Roots Capital, Ryan has presided investments in many companies, such as Xiaoneng Technology, SENSORO, Redu Media, Yami and Urban Fable, and received the award for “2015 Zhongguancun Outstanding Angel Investor”. Ryan presently focuses on all kinds of investment opportunities in the blockchain industry.

Ryan holds a Bachelor‘s Degree of Economics with an emphasis on statistics, from the Renmin University of China.
