Ross is Co-founder and Managing Director of DFJ Gotham Ventures, which has been investing in early-stage tech companies in NYC since 2000. Ross is currently DFJ Gotham’s representative on the boards of Mimeo, PulsePoint, Drop.io, Medialets, JIBE, Altruik and STELLAService.Prior to co-founding DFJ Gotham Ventures, Ross was EVP and Chief Financial Officer of Interactive Imaginations, Inc., one of the East Coast’s first adtech companies, and the predecessor company to 24/7 Media, which went public and was eventually sold to WPP. Ross helped manage Interactive Imaginations through the challenges of the early Internet years and eventually toward its successful merger and IPO as 24/7 Media.Prior to joining Interactive Imaginations, Ross was with Morgan Stanley, where he had been a senior banker responsible for IPOs and other equity financings for the firm’s technology, telecommunications and media clients. Since 2001, Ross has served on the Board of Directors of New York Cares, a leading volunteer service non-profit organization based in New York City. Ross received a BS in Applied Mathematics-Economics from Brown University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Ross lives in NYC with his wife and two sons and plays ice hockey and keyboards in a rock band in his “spare” time.
