Robert Haddad has more than 25 years of medical equipment and high-technology operations and general management experience.

Prior to OptiMedica, he was vice president of international operations and business development for Elkin Medical Systems, a world leader in digital radiology and PACS products.

Prior to Elkin, Haddad was the COO and cofounder of Translucent Photonics where he raised $9 million in venture capital to build a world-class materials science research organization that generated IP for the semiconductor industry.

He was previously vice president of operations and product development at Sunrise Technologies and vice president of operations at Iridex.

He also worked for Coherent as the director of global corporate services.

Haddad received a BS in Industrial Engineering & Management from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from Sacramento State University.
