Philippe Collombel is a co-managing partner of Partech International with Jean-Marc Patouillaud, which Philippe Collombel joined in 2001.Over the last few years, Philippe Collombel has built a strong portfolio of emerging leaders in Digital Media companies such as Dailymotion (Video sharing), Qype (Local search), and TVtrip (Search engine for hotels). Internet with companies such as Scoop.it (topic-centric curation), Menlook (e-commerce and media group focused on Men) and Brands4Friends Japan (private sales).

Software companies such as Total Immersion (augmented reality).Philippe Collombel has also built a track record of successful exits with companies such as Brand4Friends (sold to eBay), Cartesis (sold to Business Objects), Meiosys (sold to IBM) and Travelprice (sold to Lastminute).

Prior to joining Partech, Philippe Collombel was a partner at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), which Philippe Collombel left to manage strategic Internet and technology initiatives for Carrefour as the GM of its e-Carrefour subsidiary.

Philippe Collombel is a graduate of the “Institut d’Etudes Politiques” of Paris and of the Kellogg Graduate School of Business. Philippe Collombel also obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

Philippe Collombel has three children. Philippe Collombel continues to ski on a regular basis and participates in many other outdoor sporting activities including mountain climbing and sailing.
