Mr. Philipp Tholen serves as Vice President of Operations of Ava AG and also serves as Vice President of Product. Mr. Tholen is Co-Founder at Ava AG. Mr. Tholen started his career in web design and consulting before moving to an international corporation active in injection molding solutions. After two years, he took over responsibility of the medical division, which he expanded significantly. In 2011, he became Managing Director of Ava business in South Africa. After three years in Johannesburg, he joined the Ava team. He has a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical and Process Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Management, Technology and Economics, both from ETH Zurich.
