A serial entrepreneur, Peter has founded startups, created an international development corporation in Africa, and served as a board member for tech companies. A popular speaker on bitcoin, cryptocurrency and the next era of currency, he also serves as Founding Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation.

He graduated from Brown University with an Sc.B. in Theoretical Mathematics, and an emphasis in cryptography. Sadly he failed his only International Finance class; he was unable to explain to his professor how digital micropayments were different than credit cards
