Pamela Curtis is a Vice President of Axio. Pamela’s responsibilities focus on development and review of client deliverables and internal process and training documentation, participation on client delivery teams for workshops, evaluations, and appraisals, and the evolution and codification of Axio’s foundational process and methodology.

Previously, Pamela was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Melon University and a member of the Cyber Risk and Resilience Management Team in the SEI’s CERT Division. In this role, Pamela conducted analytical studies and investigations and developed models, tools, and assessments related to improving and measuring the resilience of critical infrastructure. Curtis was a contributing author to the CERT Resilience Management Model (CERT-RMM), a maturity model for managing operational resilience, and is a certified CERT-RMM lead appraiser. She also contributed to development of the Department of Energy’s generic Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model (C2M2) and an information technology services variant of C2M2.

Prior to her time at CERT, Curtis had over 25 years of experience in the information technology domain as a systems analyst, programmer, process improvement team leader, technical communicator, and manager. She holds a BA with a concentration in Management from Simmons College and an MS in Management Information Systems from Boston University.
