Oscar is a network economies specialist who has been involved with and working in the digital asset and blockchain community since 2013. Oscar was a key technical advisor to the UK Royal Mint during their partnership with CME to create a gold bullion backed blockchain platform. Prior to this, he worked in investment banking, most recently as head of sales-trading within Société Générale’s Global Equity Flow division in London covering UK, US and Hong Kong client bases.

With this financial background and an academic grounding in computer science and artificial intelligence, Oscar has a multi-faceted understanding of the economic and technical aspects of blockchain design and application. Oscar has research and practical experience in cryptocurrency mining, key custody, service provision, decentralised protocol design and digital asset trading. He also provides blockchain training to professionals and executives through the London Institute of Future Technology.

While at SG Oscar was an FCA approved person and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
