Niels Anderskouv is senior vice president and general manager of High Volume Analog & Logic (HVAL) at Texas Instruments, leading worldwide strategy and operations for TI's groups focused on application-specific analog, standard linear and logic products. Anderskouv and his team focus on accelerating growth by investing in fast-growing, high-volume analog, mixed-signal and logic product areas within the automotive, industrial, communications, computer and consumer markets.From January 2007 until taking his current role in March 2012, Anderskouv led Digital Signal Processing at TI. He managed a global team focused on core DSP technology development in architecture, software and development tools. Driving innovative breakthroughs in key markets, Anderskouv and his team executed major structural changes, implemented new business strategies and built a customer-focused foundation for TI's digital signal processor (DSP) and ARM® microprocessor products, which developed into today's Singlecore and Multicore Processors product lines.As president and chief executive officer of Toccata Technology, a Danish start-up and a leading developer of digital-audio amplifier technology, Anderskouv joined TI when Toccata was acquired in 2000. Anderskouv became the general manager of TI Copenhagen, Denmark, where he oversaw the successful integration of Toccata's business with TI's existing and developing portfolio of audio products.Anderskouv relocated to TI's headquarters in Dallas in 2001, bringing his skills in product development, strategic marketing and new business development to manage Digital Audio at TI. Under his guidance, their revenue grew significantly, and, in 2003, he became vice president of Digital Audio and Video, a key part of High Performance Analog (HPA). In 2004, Anderskouv transferred to Japan to manage Digital Consumer Electronic Solutions .
