As General Counsel, I focus my decisions and practice on collectively helping an organization through creative legal solutions and refined business strategies. Since the law is ever-changing, remaining up-to-date on new case law, corporate strategies, and market trends requires consistent innovation. I am driven to teach and learn new facts, skills, and methods that provide stronger guidance and enable organizations to be better at what they do.

My unique background combines resiliency, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a natural ability to connect with people while providing legal and business advisory to emerging and technology-oriented companies in a variety of areas that include entity formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and privacy related matters. I have been called upon to assist in negotiating term sheets to obtain financing through private equity firms, angel investors, and notable venture capital firms based in Silicon Valley and across the U.S. My diverse experience has also included co-founding a law firm and serving as its managing partner where I leveraged diversified skill sets in providing expert counsel and directing company policy for numerous clients across a multitude of industries. Additionally, I served as lead counsel for the corporate restructuring of large companies requiring the creation of new entities across several jurisdictions and merging of subsidiaries both domestically and internationally.

In my early legal career, I became a certified NFL Agent and founded a sports agency focused on representing NFL athletes in their contract negotiations with teams such as the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions. Serving as a sports agent helped set the tone for my passion and true skill in contract negotiations and deal processes.
