Lance Myers is a pioneer, innovator and technology leader in mobile health, bio-signal analysis and machine learning for body worn bio-sensor applications.

Lance Myers began working with mobile biosensors during an academic career at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. He subsequently joined VivoMetrics where he led the effort to create the world’s first multi-channel, wearable monitoring system, the LifeShirt, eventually acquired by adidas.

He has been a principal investigator on multiple government contracts developing wrist worn sleep, activity and heart rate monitors. His algorithms for sleep and performance monitoring are FDA approved and commercialized by Fatigue Science, Inc.

He founded Vivonoetics, a successful early stage company providing advanced analytics for wearable sensors to enable remote-monitoring for pharmaceutical clinical trials.

He currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Sentrian. Their aim is to reduce unnecessary hospitalization using remote monitoring and advanced machine learning to detect patient deterioration before problems become acute.

Lance Myers has published over 50 scientific articles, book chapters and patents on algorithms, analytical methods and clinical and technical applications of mHealth and wearable sensors.
