Kazuo Hironaka is a member of the Board of Directors and a senior executive director, overseeing the Corporate Center at DENSO Corporation in Kariya, Aichi, Japan.

Hironaka began his career in 1973 at DENSO Corporation (formerly Nippondenso Co., Ltd.) after graduating with a degree in Political Science from Keio University that same year. He began in the Sales Division where he had in a series of positions.

In January 1997, Hironaka was transferred to DENSO Thailand where production and sale of various products like air conditioning and electrical components strengthening the local economy. He oversaw all aspects of the operation as President, as well as survived an unprecedented economic crisis in the country while maintaining associate morale.

In July 2001, he served as director in the Toyota Sales Division at headquarters. As director, Hironaka was in charge of all Toyota's domestic and overseas sales.

He was named one of executive directors in June 2004. He was appointed to senior executive director in June 2007.
