Karl Kobylecki is an independent equity investor and derivatives strategist. Previously, Mr. Kobylecki worked at DLA Piper LLP in Silicon Valley as an associate attorney in the Corporate & Securities Group, where he advised clients on a wide variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, spin-offs and technology licensing deals. His legal experience also includes pro bono representation of various clients including environmental non-profit organizations, research foundations and tenants facing eviction. Prior to joining DLA, Mr. Kobylecki had worked as a research assistant for Professor Michael Klarman at Harvard Law School, as an English tutor in Shanghai, China, and as a Resident Advisor for the University of Michigan. Mr. Kobylecki is a member of the State Bar of California, holds a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. In his spare time, Mr. Kobylecki enjoys skiing, hiking, building computers and cooking.
