Jonathan Korngold is a Senior Managing Director and head of Blackstone’s Growth Equity investing platform.

Korngold was a Managing Director and Global Head of General Atlantic’s Financial Services sector prior to his move to Blackstone in January 2019. He served as Chairman of the firm’s Portfolio Committee and was a member of the firm’s Executive, Investment, Human Resources, and Emerging Growth Investment Committees. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2001, Korngold worked at Goldman Sachs in the Principal Investment Area and in the Mergers & Acquisitions groups in London and New York, respectively.

He received an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College, graduating with honors, and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
