John Monagle joined General Catalyst in 2014 because of the firm’s incredible track record in supporting founders.

Previously, John worked for The Walt Disney Company in Glendale, CA, focusing on Disney’s growth and emerging businesses. He also worked in the Office of the Executive Vice President at Princeton University.

John graduated cum laude from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, where he was awarded the Donald E. Stokes Dean’s Prize for most significant contributions to the undergraduate program.

Outside of work, John enjoys recreational sports, the beach, and travel. John speaks Mandarin.
