John Lynch incorporated Devlin Entertainment in the summer of 2006. Lynch had previously partnered in two other production companies, Lynch Siderow Productions and Lynch Entertainment.

While at Lynch Entertainment, John ran the company, which produced over 30 different programs including the long running kids program Kids Incorporated and the music show Night Tracks as well as reality shows including Candid Camera specials. Duties included day-to-day operations, sales, securing international financing and distribution, overseeing all aspects of production including, writing, directing and post-production. John has produced shows and TV movies in the US and Canada during this period. John has also managed as many as 600 employees during this time period.

In 2000 John started Lynch/Siderow Production Company. John had the same duties as with Lynch Entertainment. Working in comedy and reality shows, John created the concept of a creative lab for MTV called Greenhouse 405, which develop and produced shows for the network. Working with various types of programming including sketch comedy shows with Andy Dick and Norm McDonald, a soap opera for MTV as well as Virgin Chronicles a series that traveled back with celebrities revisiting “first time” events in their lives. Lynch/Siderow was the production company for the hugely successful movies Jackass and Jackass 2. Both movies were shot around the US and the world including Mexico, Japan, India, and Spain.
