Joe Ventura is a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at AlphaPoint. He has over 15 years of software architecture experience specializing in secure, scalable, and high performance financial systems.

Joe previously worked for Mantara, where he successfully designed and implemented multiple large, complex, high speed, and low latency software systems for multiple financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, UBS, and Merrill Lynch, connecting to all major equity venues, such as the NYSE, NASDAQ, and DirectEdge.

In addition, Joe architected PhotonTrader, a futures and options trading front end for FuturePath, a Chicago based brokerage connecting to CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, Eurex, Liffe, and BATS.
